Top 5 Air Travel Apps on Android in the Middle East: Q1 2025

The first quarter of 2025 has seen interesting trends in the air travel app market in the Middle East on the Android platform. Sensor Tower provides insights into the performance of the top five apps in this category.

Sindibad: Flights and Hotels saw a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with 237 downloads and peaking at 318 in late January. However, this was followed by a steady decline, closing the quarter at 116 downloads. The app maintained a relatively stable number of active users, starting at 986 and ending at 1.2K.

Qatar Airways experienced a varied download pattern, starting strong with 15.8K downloads and peaking at 20.2K in late March before dropping to 6.6K. Active users showed a similar pattern, beginning at 67.2K, peaking at 72.4K, and ending at 63.1K.

flyadeal App demonstrated a strong upward trend in downloads, starting at 4.5K and reaching 15.3K by the end of March. Active users started at 55.7K, peaked at 73.8K in late February, and settled at 54.3K by the end of the quarter.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker showed consistent weekly revenue, hovering around $2K-$2.9K throughout the quarter. Downloads began at 8.8K, with a mid-quarter dip to 5.9K, before closing at 7.4K. Active users started at 93K, peaking at 109K mid-quarter, and concluded at 96.1K.

flydubai experienced a steady download increase, starting at 7.5K and reaching 8.5K by the end of March. Active users showed a slight decline from 14.4K to 12.2K.
